    It is quite possible to totally clear the mind of thought. Maybe you have not done it yet, but it is certainly possible. At the point BEFORE thinking arises there is no name and no form. No discrimination between subject and object. Inside and outside become one. Some people call that point nirvana, God, or Buddha, but that point is BEFORE thinking, so calling it something is already a mistake. You might try meditation on impermanance & non-conceptual emptiness. Practicing koans may help too.GL
