Thank you – a good overview. Just one thing I would like to mention: when placing the flowers into the bowl, it is better to use a stalk or twig from the plant of the flower, rather than touching them with your hand. This prevents your own energy from entering the alchemic equation and protects the flower’s energy. When decanting, the flowers can also be picked out again using the same or new stalks from the plant, rather than using cheesecloth to strain (again, protects flower’s energy).

Thanks for your input! I have heard that suggestion before, but after 2 decades of flower essence preparation I personally have found it largely unpractical.

In any type of energy medicine the practitioner’s energy is going to come in to play. It cannot be overemphasized that the person preparing a flower essence remedy must take time to meditate with the plant being harvested from. Simply throwing some flowers in a bowl of water and putting it in the sun will not produce an effective remedy.

I was kind of with you up until succussing, which indicates that this is a “homeopathic” preparation. I personally do not believe in homeopathy.

I was intrigued by the Chinese herbal formulas you sell on your web site. These are not homeopathic (extremely diluted) preparations as well, are they?

Nothing personal against you, it’s just my own personal belief.
